Cyberpunk 2077’s Johnny Silverhand Did Not Originally Look Like Keanu Reeves

Cyberpunk 2077‘s Johnny Silverhand didn’t originally look like Keanu Reeves.

CD Projekt RED senior concept artist and coordinator Lea Leonowicz posted several original concept art drawings to ArtStation showing various ideas for what the character.

These feature different versions of the character, and some of them even have his robotic silver arm on his right in a few drawings, rather than the final version whose left arm has been replaced. One version even has tattoos and scars.

Keanu Reeves’ role as Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077 was only announced at E3 2019 at the Microsoft conference.
