It’s only been a couple of days since the Xbox exclusive horror game The Medium was released. And it already sold enough copies to cover the cost of its creation within a few days.

According to a Money.pl report (via GameSpot), Polish developer Bloober Team recouped its costs for the game’s development and marketing within a couple of days via game sales since its release on 28th January. It is the team’s biggest and most ambitious game yet, as their past games Layers of Fear, Observer, and Blair Witch were considered small scale titles. Keep in mind that the game was also on sale on Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store as it’s also a PC title. The fact that it’s also available day 1 on the Xbox Game Pass does help its visibility too.

The Medium is Bloober Team’s first third-person horror adventure that also happens to pay nods to the style of games back in the late 90s and early 2000s like the Silent Hill titles. For more on The Medium, check out our review; we loved it!
