Back 4 Blood Delayed; Summer Beta Planned

Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Turtle Rock Studios have announced that they have delayed Back 4 Blood from its previously-planned 22 June 2021 release date to the new release date of 12 October 2021. It is slated to release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Here is Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s full message on the delay, via the official Back 4 Blood Twitter account:

Turtle Rock Studios is working hard to make Back 4 Blood the best game it can possibly be at launch and the team needs more time to do this.

Therefore, we will release Back 4 Blood on October 12, 2021.

We thank our community for its continued support and are excited to share thatt there will be an open beta this summer.

Thankfully for fans who are anticipating the game, the developer also confirmed that they’re planning to launch a Back 4 Blood open beta sometime in summer 2021. As a consolation prize, at least gamers can still look forward to that, despite the game being delayed.
