The Top 6 Anime Picks For Spring 2021 [The Magic Rain]

Winter 2021 was stacked with many amazing shows like Attack on Titan, Horimiya, and The Promised Neverland, which satisfied many anime fans. Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and with the Winter anime season coming to a close, it’s time for the next batch of anime series to finally be released.

Without further ado, here are some of our top picks on what Spring 2021 has to offer, in no particular order.

Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san

Adapted from a popular manga, Ijiranaide Nagatoro-san is definitely one of the most hyped-up series set to be released in Spring 2021. The story revolves around Hayase Nagatoro, a high school freshman who loves to tease and torture her introverted older male senior.

What is her motivation behind her actions and why does the latter put up with her? Tune in to this slice of life comedy-romance show to find out the truth!

Fumetsu no Anata e

Adapted from a manga written by the author of A Silent Voice, Fumetsu no Anata e is another highly anticipated title on this list. The story follows ‘It”, a mysterious immortal being with no emotions nor identity, and who is able to take the form of those who have a strong impetus.

One day, ‘It’ in the form of a wolf meets a lone boy, who unfortunately passes on due to his critical state of health. ‘It’ then acquires the form of the boy and sets off on a never-ending journey in search of new experiences, places, and people. Uncover the mysteries surrounding ‘It’ when the series releases on 12 April!

Fruits Basket: The Final

The final season of this popular remake will reveal more about the mystery of the Zodiac Curse and the Sohma family. We’ll get to see these beloved characters slowly move forward and unlearn their childhood traumas, as everything around them changes with the seasons.

It’s sad to see such an amazing series come to an end, but we’ll be able to watch it all begin to unfold on 6 April!

Zombieland Saga: Revenge

Zombieland Saga introduced fans to an idol group with a twist: they’re all zombies! The original series showed us the heart-warming and fun journey of a group of unlikely idols, and we’ll get to see more of them in the new season.

This time, the girls attempt to save Saga Prefecture while trying not to let their comedic antics get in the way. Along the way, fans can also look forward to another amazing soundtrack from this unusual idol anime!
