Halo Infinite Gets A Technical Preview This Weekend
Good news, Spartans and would-be warriors. Halo Infinite’s multiplayer technical preview will go into full swing starting 29th July until 1st August.
The studio will unveil the first look on Twitch and YouTube on 29th July 5am GMT+8. Players will experience the game’s Bot Arenas where 4 human players will fight against 4 AI players, as well as the Academy Weapon Drills. The latter is a replayable training zone filled with bots of various skill levels, with 12 weapons to test out.
Here’s an official description of the Bot Arenas:
“To keep players on their toes and keep the experience engaging, we’re planning for a daily content offering that will evolve over the course of the flight based on the overall engagement of participants. We’re going to intentionally start things off slow to help everyone get acclimated but as the community gets up to speed and slays copious amount of Bots our goal is to crank things up to provide greater challenge and variety.”
Why do this? Because developer 343 Industries want to gather data from these playtests to get info and feedback for menu UI, customization, and Battle Pass future planning.
“The release of this blog means we’re getting very close but flighting itself is a fluid process, we need to ensure we’ve successfully cleared our final gate before we’re officially a go. That said, we’ve been given the okay to say our first Bot-focused technical preview could happen as soon as next weekend.”
Halo Infinite will come out on Holiday 2021 for Xbox consoles and PC.
