The Mandalorian Special Episode To Explore Luke Skywalker’s Return

The Mandalorian Season 2 was one of the highlights of 2020’s TV offerings. There were many fan-pleasing moments in the series, but one of the biggest and most memorable aspects was Mark Hamill reprising his role as the legendary Luke Skywalker.

Fans exploded in excitement as they witnessed the Jedi Knight in his post-Star Wars Episode IX Return Of The Jedi prime.  For that reason, the story of the cutting-edge technology used to bring Luke back and de-age him will be the subject of a special extra episode of The Mandalorian.

Disney Gallery Star Wars The Mandalorian Making Of The Season 2 Finale is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of this celebrated “chapter” of The Mandalorian, with a focus on the technology used for recreating Luke Skywalker.

It delves into the collaborative process, including working with Mark Hamill, to create an authentic and fitting recreation, and explores the immense pressure and responsibility the filmmakers had in bringing back one of the most important characters in film history.

Disney Gallery Star Wars The Mandalorian Making Of The Season 2 Finale will premiere on 25 August 2021 exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar Malaysia.
