Here Are Your Halo Infinite System Requirements; It’s Pretty Hefty

Microsoft has just released the specifications for the PC version of Halo Infinite, which is coming out for the master race platform and Xbox consoles on 8th December.

Here are the numbers, according to the Steam page. Brace yourself.

Halo Infinite Minimum Specs

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 RS3 x64
  • Processor: AMD FX-8370 or Intel i5-4440
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD RX 570 or Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

Halo Infinite Recommended Specs

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 19H2 x64
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel i7-9700k
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Radeon RX 5700 XT or Nvidia RTX 2070
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

Yep, to make Halo Infinite run optimally, you’ll need 16GB RAM, the latest DirectX version, and the top-of-the-line graphics cards. In fact, its minimum requirements require an AMD RX570 or an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti. To be honest, that is pretty hefty for a game that will run on a base Xbox One. The fact that the game will have a free-to-play multiplayer mode means the barrier of entry can be pretty high.
