Dragon Ball Super Super Hero Trailer Teases Older Pan, Broly & More

During New York Comic Con 2021, Toei Animation has revealed the first teaser trailer for the upcoming anime movie; Dragon Ball Super Super Hero. It is slated to premiere sometime in 2022.

The new Dragon Ball Super movie is a sequel and follow-up to Dragon Ball Super Broly, which was released back in 2018. Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama is writing the story for the upcoming movie.

Fans will be happy to learn that the Red Ribbon Army and Dragon Ball Super Broly‘s Broly will return in Dragon Ball Super Super Hero.

Plus, the older Pan looks so cute.

Written by Toriyama and illustrated by Toyotarou, the Dragon Ball Super manga originally premiered in June 2015 as a sequel to Toriyama’s original Dragon Ball manga, which initially ran from 1984 to 1995. The Dragon Ball Super anime launched in Japan one month after the manga, running for 131 episodes from July 2015 to March 2018.

Dragon Ball Super Broly premiered in 2018 as the first film to carry the Dragon Ball Super branding. It is also the 20th Dragon Ball feature film overall, though only the third to be made with Toriyama’s direct involvement after 2013’s Dragon Ball Z Battle Of Gods and 2015’s Dragon Ball Z Resurrection F.

In the meantime, you can check out my review of Dragon Ball Super Broly by heading over here.
