Ghostrunner DLC Will Add A New Playable Character Next Month
By Alleef Ashaari|December 2, 2021|0 Comment
Publishers 505 Games, with developers and partners One More Level, All In! Games, 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks, have announced Ghostrunner Project_Hel, an expansion for their first-person cyberpunk action game.
Initially planned as a smaller DLC, Project_Hel has grown into a full-blown Ghostrunner experience. You can take control of Hel, one of the original games’ bosses, as she descends Dharma Tower on a bloody quest of her own. Designed to appeal to new players and veterans, she’s more combat-oriented and can survive an additional attack compared to the Ghostrunner.Â
Hel has her own ability progression system, and the expansion comes with new enemies and bosses to the beat of six fresh tracks courtesy of electronic musician Daniel Deluxe.
To commemorate the upcoming holidays, you will also be able to enhance Jack’s look in the original game with a free festive sword and glove bundle on 7 December 2021. These include the Rudolph’s Run and Boon swords, the frosty Solstice katana and the Nini Wonderland blade, each of which comes with its own matching glove.
Project_Hel will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Amazon Luna, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG on January 27, 2022 for $14.99/€14,99/£12.49.
Ghostrunner Project_Hel is slated to launch on PS4, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Amazon Luna, and PC on 27 January 2022 for US$14.99, but eager fans can sign up here for a chance to enter an early private beta. Those selected to participate will be included in Project_Hel’s credits.
